The school gives flexibility to teachers to implement their own teaching -learning methodologies. Coordinators and head of school are easily accessible for a chat about work/teaching ideas. Team I worked with was understanding and open minded (Injambakkam campus). Working here gave me the opportunity to grow independently without having to follow illogical structures as such structures don't exist. My coordinators were understanding about how one rule cannot apply for all, all the time and would see reason as long as the essentials are taken care of.

Dislikes

... shut down saying there is in house PD's which were frankly not up. to the mark. The salary and appraisal is very low and unsatisfactory. There is a marked difference between the primary, middle and high school and the management tries to keep boundaries in place - divide and rule policy which was very disappointing. Work-life balance for those willing to learn and those with capacity is horrible and there is no concept of appreciation. The only plus point is about the independent personal growth.

I like the work culture of our school. It supports great teaching and learning. They empower teachers to communicate, collaborate, reflect, inquire and innovate.

Sometimes work life balance is not met, due to excessive work.

You should not have a family if you work there. No job profile and no dignity of labour. All their policies are relevant only to them. Most of thw h.r policies are illegal.

Dislikes

The worst work culture you can find anywhere. They don't behave like educators.....they are business owners who started a school.

There is no policy which one can respect in an organisation which project themselves to attract communities from abroad. Teachers will not be treated well and there is no scope for professional development.
