We have learnt a lot in first half of 2010s and the teams were very good then. But that doesn't exist in this company anymore. Thanks to absence of foresight of the promoters over last 7-8 years and the inability of theirs to understand the correct thing than what is told to them

Dislikes

The company is full of useless leaders who have stayed for 10-20 years and many of them have played politics and filthy games for their self protection. And they tell people that they do their work where as so many people who have left have given me reasons to believe and think why I should even continue. They are not leaders but busy appeasing chairman and promoters and save their own agendas. They are only good at either earning brownie points for themselves or mere executionists. Many employees ask why some of the CXOs are having C in their designation; is there a personal agenda they drive with some people in this organisation to get these designations. The policies of this company sucks and the promoter throw anyone outside at his thought and then give interviews to prove himself right. The company had a golden era in early 2010s when the company had some good leaders, even if they worked with promoters but they were true leaders, and then a bad period of unpleasant leadership in 2014-16. Then few leaders came in who were good, supported business growth and led kep profiles of business such as technology, CEO, finance, but that era seemed short lived because management do things that they believe is the best, and cause damage to the culture. There is no culture and there are no people to support the same. Heard too many things about personal alignments of staff on some other fronts too, to appease some senior people or to play with them to keep a watch or control over them. We have heard that the leaders even monitor laptops and phones and desktop phones to monitor the conversations of others and with this mentality, they have a pack of fools whom they term as culture creators. Some leaders try to be nice to everyone but in reality, they are traitors and real contributors to the pain this company has gone through. These so called funny team or CXOs are incapable and must be given a harsh treatment for whatever they have contributed to by claiming to work only for promoters but actually spoiling business momentum and claiming to be working for the benefit of the business. HR and Finance team are bin pende ka lota who can contribute no good, and have not done it over last many years, especially HR. One thing that everyone outside Zee Media can think of before joining is that whether you live life to work or you surrender life to work.
