This is not 9 to 6 job. Flexible timing. You may work as a main consultant I. E own boss. Maximum chances to grow if you open a well settled office with well number of good clients. If you are a good professional and never hesitate to open your mouth for money then you you will successfully become a freelance architect.

Dislikes

People do not understand the value of skill and labour of freelance architect. You will be treated as a best person of the world until you open the mouth for your fee. At small/medium level client think they are 99 percent creative and able to design project themselves, but they hired you only for 1 percent of creativity/skills which they don't know. In this condition how it is possible that they will pay for 100 percent of design. This is the reason client would like to pay only 1 percent of design fee. New client would say he has lots of contacts and he will help you in becoming a well settled architect. It will sounds beautiful and you see a godfather of architect in them. What will give you in return ---- " A FREE DESIGN ". clients never wrong so they will arrange a meeting of their contacts with you. But a new client who are from the contacts list of first client will repeat the same language in same tone and what you give in return ------ " A FREE DESIGN".................. Till.......
