Everything, This company treat employees very bad If person respects their work then this company will make them feel bad for what they work. Company working on all 5 days a week and in alternative saturday. Checking time is 9.00 am and check out is 6.15pm for an Rnd which is in the outskirts of chennai with nearly no public transport facility. Cabs are available but those are mini vans with lots of people non even enough space to sit in the cab and cab timings while leaving are delayed very late by the service team members. They work only while going. The infrastructure, work culture doesn't fit the company's reputation and it's innovation. The company RnD and the management team polices seems like an ancient old garments exports companies polices doens't value people work. The management doesn't bother about the quality of work and work life balance of employee. The Rnd has 9.15 hrs or working which is the reflection of the manufacturing plant they have. They use the word more often to showcase them and stall the RnD to work for extra long hours. They say it's because the alternative saturday are off so they compensate it by breaking it 1.15 extra hours each day in a way. Then if you consider that it's extra around 4.65 hrs in two week and 9.3 hrs in a month which is one day extra work they as us to do for no cause and benefit for employees (In general 8 hrs*6 days*2 week =96 hrs for 2 week, but here it's 9.15 hrs* 6 Days +9.15hrs*5 days =100.65 hrs for 2 week). Rnd is powerless than the factory. Factory people are united and they have their own benefits. RnD people are not supported enough and they are not paid enough. The whole companies runs only on internship doing college people. Because they won't recognise and give proper hike or promotion to the people who work hard enough to achieve things to happen. If person completes the project they fire them or demotivates them by not providing proper recognition to the person who worked by good salary and retain the person. Instead they hire 2-3 interns whithout any prior knowledge and fresh to work environment who are ready to work for 10k on the same and those people do some jugaad work with what they know and able to do and management approves that too. Don't go for intern here you can't learn anything properly. It waste of time and energy to spend with them. No initial training or proper training to start the work the interns dive directly to the projects without knowing anything and end up with something to show as a project. The mangers are very bad they won't do for their employees they won't retain the good one they hire bunches of interns to continue the work and destroy the technology created by someones hard work. No proper KT given by previous employees. The infrastructure is very bad. Having RnD in some industrial estate is a big disappointment. The bathrooms are not clean and proper. Theh don't have cafeteria for food. People need to go out to get food in the industrial estate. They don't have coffe machine. They prepare coffee and tea as want we do in home in volumes and that too not good and not in proper timing. The cleaning peoples and house keeping people are also so bad that they won't do they have self-respect and leaving the job and these management call them back to work even after people leaving since giving training to housekeeping people will be not their work they feel Management. The learning curve is very high. Since you're included in the inception till the production of the product , the knowledge gained is very high. Colleagues are friendly and atmosphere is not bad

The Phoenix medical system is a good place for internships, not for an employee. Phoenix doesn't have a single employee who has stayed for the last 30 years since the company was established. The following are the reasons not to join this company- a. Company policies - 1. You have to punch IN at 9.05 every day on time or else your salary will be deducted. ( This rule is applicable for interns also). Same applies for punch Out, if you forget your salary gets deducted. 2. Saturday and Sunday are meant to be a holiday and you get paid leave but if you take a leave on Friday and Monday then you won't be able to get those paid leaves. 3. Only national holidays and Hindu festival holidays are given. Other festivals like EID or Christmas are not considered holidays. 4. Work from home - if you do work home you get paid a half day salary. Saturday & Sunday paid leave is also half. 5. Break time - you can only take 10 mins in the morning and 20 mins for lunch. 6. Guy/girls cannot mingle during work hours, you need to take permission from your respective team for that. 7. Apparently this company pays you 10 days extra salary when you join in your 1 St month, really good gesture right. Then deduct 10 days salary when you leave(based on your latest salary not the one when you join). If you are good in math you will figure out. 8. Paid leaves - you will get your paid leave only once you complete 1 year. Till that time you will have one paid leave. 9. Notice period - 90 days notice period once you become a permanent employee, which is not accepted by any company.(Flexibility of this will depend on your project status when your leaving) 10. Bonus - you will receive only after 1st year of service. 11. Girls are supposed to wear formal dress, which do not show their body (The hr department cares for the safety of girls). Guys are supposed to come in formal dress. b. Lack of skilled people - the leaning is really good(except for the testing team) in this company as they give you a lot of responsibility and challenges, but mostly you will have to self learn as there are no seniors in this company. People are gaining a certain level of knowledge leaving this company, and there is no one to pass on the knowledge. c. Salary and hikes - entry level salary is around 10k ( testing team), 14 k (mechanical, electrical, CSE). Once you convert to any employee testing (12k), mechanical (16k), electrical(16k) and cse(23k). As far as hikes are concerned no hikes for the testing team, they mostly recruit and then fire them once the work is completed. Mechanical or electrical gets around 5k hike after you complete 1 year. d. Team management - the worst team management with no brains or structure. Apart from doing your project, expect an engineer to be a daily wage worker, sweeper and coordinator. d. Lack of respect - no respect for work or ideas you present. If you are a passionate Engineer who works for passion don't join this company as they will kill your passion. They will ask you to work overtime and don't pay you for that work. e. Company revenue - is dropping every year, this won't be good for our future. f. The rnd is located in the outskirts of chennai. So you will have to travel daily from your accommodation.
