Ordnance factories is an organisation of 41 factories manufacturing varieties of items and divided into five main groups based on whether they manufacture clothing and equipment or engineering items or chemical products etc. Machines and Technology is available for allowing kind of manufacturing items intended. We have our own Training departments not only at factories level but organisation levels with Staff college for Officers and Institutes of learning for staff. Since it’s a large organisation Fast adoption to changing environment takes time. Product and it’s specifications are fixed and even minor changes would require elaborate concurance from various quarters Like Inspectorate,Armed Forces and everyone who is involved , hence time consuming as well as frustrating. Procurement guidelines are stringent and quite complicated. Hence needs good understanding and thoroughness although not bad but results in delays and could be counterproductive...Read More

I had worked in various capacities and at different factories and handled many departments. But basically as Mechanical Engineer Maintenance was my mainstay. Also as Quality engineer for long time which gave me huge opportunity for learning
