1. Founders are highly knowledgeable, and you get to learn a ton 2. You get to exercise a very high degree of autonomy in your work 3. You can have a very balanced work life; you get plenty of time to take care of your personal life

1. Org is very rigid against WFH; they want to see people sitting in office irrespective of everything 2. Org doesn't believe in Pay correction; once you are in, there is no correction. You can expect 10-15% appraisals. Pay parity is a big issue. You may find people making 2x of your pay at the same level 3. Org has a comparatively weak mid-management layer, lacks clarity of thought, and lacks work ethics. You won't find a mentor in them 4. Got Rejected In an Interview, Just Because I Didn’t Answer a Personal Question

So, I got invited for this interview, and they told me to be there at 9 AM. Of course, I get there early, like 8:30, because I don't want to be late. But then I end up waiting for 1.5 hours. Seriously, they didn't even acknowledge me until 10. Then this HR lady calls me in, and she's totally unprofessional. She's like, on her phone, making personal calls while I'm sitting right there. And then she starts asking me these really weird questions, like what my nickname is, and what my dad does for a living. It got really uncomfortable when she started pressing for details about where my dad works. I mean, what does that have to do with anything? So I politely told her I didn't want to answer, and she actually said, "Then we can't continue this interview." I was honestly shocked. But instead of arguing, I just stood up and said, “Alright then.” And walked out. I left feeling pissed. Not only did they waste an hour of my time, but the HR rep was also rude and unprofessional..
