Good team mates, training is provided in relevant fields at regular intervals, Job security is very good,career growth is good but being a govt. controlled public sector it depends on vacancy. Salary is as per state govt. scale of pay in Odisha. Govt.TA rules applicable, Political interference is very less. scope for learning through training and working in a team is there, but one has to learn by study and practice. work enviroment is good. Govt. controlled organisation. Slow working. Not a favourable work environment for time bound completion of project works. Subject to long and tedious process of working.Government procedures are more important than Project management principles.Still good results are achievable.

Work Details

I looked after project works like construction of extra high voltage lines and substations. I had to frequently visit sites. Very frequently discuss and review various projects under me. It was satisfactory when project proceeded well according to target.
