1. Freedom to learn as a fresher. No one will monitor your learnings and so you are open to the entire resources of the department. You can go to the depths of learning without any hinderance. 2. A. Lot of Big-Companies as clients and so it will add value to your profile. 3. Exposure to corporate and industrial process, flow and procedures. 4. Only development roles and so every day will be something new to learn, that's a guarantee. 5. Wide variety of softwares (but you cannot work on everything, only on what's alotted to you.) 6. Dress code- Uniform and ID card, so washing and maintenance won't be a problem. 1. No one will monitor your learnings, and so you will always be treated as a fresher. 2. People there are vulturous. They always look 2 be on top of everybody and if you do something special such as calculations and engineering, they will envy you and PUT YOU DOWN!!! Bcos there are many people there who haven't gotten a promotion for 10years and you will be working under their supervision. 3. There are standards fixed by those kind of people, and you will not be allowed to implement your learnings. Those seniors used to say "learn all you want, but nothing will work practically, and so don't try 2 implement any". Eg., Even if it's a D10 or D20 or D30 cutter with 4 flutes or 6 flutes, they will always run the tool at a constant 1300mm/min (max) or below that but never above. So if you try to use newer methodology, they won't allow you 2 fearing questions reg their past work. Eg., Until I was there, there is a strict rule that continuous 5-axis programming is prohibited, if you try to activate more than 2 motors at a time, you will be under pressure. To do this, you need to go 2 a higher position and independently do this against the will of other seniors. 4. CAM programmers are heavily influenced by machine operators and even the engineering innovation manager is in favour of machine shop and not his own. So technically, you will do what machine shop requires and not what is optimal. 5. Many egoistic people. 6. Lengthy bond period. My advice: don't go in for a bond. only join if you get a managerial position or else don't. if you still want to, then only go there to learn and improve your career profile. My thing: When I fought my way out of LMW-ATC, I thought 2 myself that if this company kept on exploiting young engineers for 14k a month with a bond of 5 years and no increment for 1st 3 years, then in no time no one will want to work there and so it happened.
