Company has more number of VPs and Managers than the executive level persons. The senior management does not have good relationship with client and treats junior employees in a way that - "I'm paying you so work". I remember working on a 78 slider presentation within 18 hours because of a manager made a commitment which cannot be fulfilled. Several product propositions to the clients were non-existed when the brief got approved. The Field research team is known for incorrect recruitment. However, Management has a blind eye to that. Some of the employees are bullied and body-shamed by senior management but no actions taken against them. However, strict action is taken if you are not in the "protection umbrella" of your line of business. One more thing, company follows a Hire-Fire Policy. I know that company hired incompetent abusive managers and fired talented qualitative research managers because they were not getting any support in BD. Had some amazing peers who's relationship got destroyed due to excessive toxicity, from the upper management.

from the day 1 , during training we got the calls to make excel sheets and do stuff like listen to audio and translate text. Really? Coming to the toxicity part the upper management sits on their couch talking laughing and cracking jokes on ridiculous stuff, you can see the actual ok boomer situation here. Some people are genuinelynice (the junior working force) but again if you have such negative vibes in the office you kind of get absorbed in that gravy too. Lets start with morning if you don't punch in at 9am! sharp , or before, you are deducted half day and you are forced to stay as many hours delayed in the punch clock. Many a times i opened the office collecting keys from the security desk. There is no office guard , so anyone can walk in and start talking to you. One day There was an credit card guy who directly walked in and started shouting at me in front of whole office. I had to lock the door of the office while leaving for home. We were asked to bring in leads for research work. (something that the upper management is for - making us do sales , but we cannot report that in our KRA/ KPI as it goes beyond scope, but then why make us do sales stuff then? ) Management has a lot of smug, which they are getting back to , by getting laid off like they did to their juniors, my career was made a joke by them by asking me to leave the company by giving me 14 days notice period to shift. After burning my sleep my weekends my midnight , turning my life upside down for them this is what i got in return . I used to travel from Gurgaon so to reach office i had to wake up at 6.30 in the mornings in that blistering cold. just to catch the metro at 7:30 so that i can reach office by 8:45-9 am. going back home was challenging because the park gates used to get shut post 10 o clock so if you have work beyond 10 (which was a daily affair) you have to board a cab . They will not reimburse you. For me it was like 7 days a work week . Again we were forced to work on Saturdays and Sundays, if you have something planned you were attacked on personal level to give out your personal agendas on weekends , so say goodbye to your personal lives. I used to barely get 3 hours of sleep time. Because my work used to be like till 2 am - 4 am in the morning, again wake up at 6.30 rinse and repeat. I like to name the person because I believe in naming and shaming Susmita Misra, she might be very knowledgeable no doubt but she again had the passive anger issues by which she used to use divide and rule policy and made my life a living nightmare in the company by making me work extra hours showing low moral character. And i am sure she must have eaten a lot of guys / girls careers for breakfast in the morning for the big fat smug she carried along with her self. One of the worst boss you can ever have. There is a saying eat what you can, can what you cant! She used to talk with so much disrespect i don't even talk to my driver that way. But anyways hope she could survive her last days on planet earth by being just another jerk, people like her are prime examples why we have such idiotic management in the workforce today and why the higher ups are always in the bad light. Talking about flexibility at work i was assigned a lead and then hardly i was doing any projects under him. Saturdays Sundays was a joke. I was always offloaded to work on different teams' leads who weren't even my assigned lead. My lead therefore during appraisal knew nothing about me, my strengths etc. and 0% appraisal is common. so you are in there without a salary change without years. Coming to salary it is controlled by one person so if he delays in approvals your salaries may not come on time , sometimes we got it on 4th - 7th ! just letting you know. If you have fieldwork be prepared to shed out you salary because reimbursement comes after 90 days, so you are out of money most of the times, I had to borrow money from home. Fieldwork mostly happens on Saturday and Sundays. So be prepared to say goodbye to your friends and family when the whole world is enjoying you are working. :D The other lady leads were supremely toxic who got laid off too, so no point in writing about them. Working here was tough with bunch of jerk offs who won't even know the spelling of some words but have enough smug to guide you on what wrong you are doing with your life. Overall, this is a pretty small company, that is why it is the way it is. Classic example of a toxic work environment.
