To be honest, worst place to work. (I have worked at 2 different units, and in different functions) You have to face professional nepotism. Egoistic manager having no sense of appreciation at all. Almost all critical maintenance job is done by third party service providers, no scope of skillset improvement. Not a conglomerate (its agimmick as they are desperately trying to implement global standards but on unit level the work environment is extremely unprofessional). They have complicated paper work system that is difficult to comprehend for new comers in the group. The job security is not good (I have seen people lose their job in the name of safety even they were not even involved in the job, as already said it is due to complicated paper work, that keeps you in the loop and somehow makes you culprit). Leaving office on time is like committing a crime. No personal life, you have to ask/inform your manager even if you are leaving the township for say about 2hrs to visit local market even on weekends. Remote location lifestyle. Got Rejected In an Interview, Just Because I Didn’t Answer a Personal Question

So, I got invited for this interview, and they told me to be there at 9 AM. Of course, I get there early, like 8:30, because I don't want to be late. But then I end up waiting for 1.5 hours. Seriously, they didn't even acknowledge me until 10. Then this HR lady calls me in, and she's totally unprofessional. She's like, on her phone, making personal calls while I'm sitting right there. And then she starts asking me these really weird questions, like what my nickname is, and what my dad does for a living. It got really uncomfortable when she started pressing for details about where my dad works. I mean, what does that have to do with anything? So I politely told her I didn't want to answer, and she actually said, "Then we can't continue this interview." I was honestly shocked. But instead of arguing, I just stood up and said, “Alright then.” And walked out. I left feeling pissed. Not only did they waste an hour of my time, but the HR rep was also rude and unprofessional..
