Got Rejected In an Interview, Just Because I Didn’t Answer a Personal Question

So, I got invited for this interview, and they told me to be there at 9 AM. Of course, I get there early, like 8:30, because I don't want to be late. But then I end up waiting for 1.5 hours. Seriously, they didn't even acknowledge me until 10. Then this HR lady calls me in, and she's totally unprofessional. She's like, on her phone, making personal calls while I'm sitting right there. And then she starts asking me these really weird questions, like what my nickname is, and what my dad does for a living. It got really uncomfortable when she started pressing for details about where my dad works. I mean, what does that have to do with anything? So I politely told her I didn't want to answer, and she actually said, "Then we can't continue this interview." I was honestly shocked. But instead of arguing, I just stood up and said, “Alright then.” And walked out. I left feeling pissed. Not only did they waste an hour of my time, but the HR rep was also rude and unprofessional..

The place looks like a resort so at first anyone would want to work there. They've a great library with a fantastic auditorium. I think now that they used the scenic beauty for decoy. If you manage to work there for a couple of months you'll understand.

Dislikes

I found the job excessively tiring as I was a residential teacher. I'd no time for myself and absolutely no personal life. The organisation looks modern from outside but they're backward. Felt like I was living in 17th century or something. Kids won't respect their teachers and some of the staff also have no class or standards. Theyprefer employing dumb, deaf and people lacking brains. Last not the least the food is of low quality. It's not a permanent position as they may fire you at any point....Read More
