All india radio did not support any of their employees. They just use and through. I am casual announcer and radio jockey but they shutdown their services during covid19. I had not any other job. Work culture is also not good. Work load on contractual employees is very high. And they do not consider their contractual employees for permanent position.

High rank officials. They don't bother about ground reality. They unable to understand their employees problem. They just order. They don't listen creative ideas and did not want to improve all india radio. I am in external services division and the high rank officials want to close this service. But this service is very important to make good image about india in the Pakistan and China and other countries. But official just want to save money. They don't give us permanent position and did not support any of their employees....Read More

Look, I don't know about the other stations across the India. But Akashbani Kolkata is really bad place to be. Every where a lot of discouraging people.. ladies are not safe, because there are some perverts around.. and Prasar Bharati knows how to exploit an artist..They will make you do their jobs, but in case of payment, they justthrow some penny at you like you are a slave.Bad and negative mentality.. only a few people in Akashbani kolkata, work properly.. rest of them are just another government employee.
