For the beginner itsgood to start with RBS but if one wants to make a career in bank then better move from here.

Salary is less , No cab now even meals also no.You have to pay for meal. No career growth people are in same position from more than decade. There should be change in middle and top management.

The organisation is highly ethical in hiring and daily conducts. The overall demographics of the company is very young. Equal male female ratio and an inclusive culture prevails here. Company spends a lot on knowledge and skill development of employees. Work culture is almost best in the world. Depending on the team and department, onshore trips are possible. Work pressure is from less to moderate and rarely high.

Dislikes

RBS pays well to outside hires. Internal promotions will not give a good hike in salary. Growth opportunities are less and politics will happen like every organisation. The mechanism for performance appraisals is not very efficient. Earlier postgraduates were hired for critical process, but now only graduates are being hired. This has diluted professionalism and vintage employees feel at disadvantage.

Excellent organisation with an awesome work culture, work life balance, job security, internal career growth opportunities and management teams. Can become better on the pay part though 😉
