Job security too good, career growth stagnant, salary is good.

Railway has the excellent various training institute as their requirement ,job security is obviously high and working environment is to good,but for general candidates career growth is too poor, politics also too high,for me self never involve in that .........

The job security is best...the compensation is good enough...though the kind of work I did needed lot of time and effort..higher authorities can be a bit more appreciative about the work..about career growth, it's a bit monotonous, and a bit corrupted...so if job security is you main motto, you should join railways..

Nobody appreciates if you do better work then others..there is a bit elitism in railways, where the higher management authoritative poeple are given everything, and the working force is treated like daily wage workers...it can be better...everyone is working hard, so everyone should be treated equally..

Non uniform salary structure and workload across departments. No hazard pay.
