Tulsyan NEC Limited is a Public Limited Company - listed with National Stock Exchange (NSE)/Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) having Registered Office at No.61, Sembudoss Street, Chennai and Administration Office at No.37, Kaveriappa Layout, Miller Tank Bund Road, Vasanthnagar, Bangalore – 560 052. The Company has three divisions namely Steel, Power & Plastic Packaging. The Steel division is located at Gumudipoondi. The Plastic division is located at Doddaballapur. The power division is located in Gummudipoondi, Chennai The end product of Steel division is TMT Bars and the capacity to manufacture this product is 348000 Mts p.a. The Company also manufactures Billets – installed capacity - 144000 Mts p.a, Ingots – installed capacity 36000 Mts p.a. & Sponge Iron installed capacity – 36000 Mts p.a. The company has 2 Thermal Power Plant of 35 MW each of which one is fully operational and the other is in the advanced stage of completion and expected to become fully operational during the FY 2015-16 . In the Plastic division the company manufactures HDPE/PP Woven Sacks & FIBC with a capacity of 26000 Mts p.a. The turnover of the Company for the financial year 2014-15 was Rs.1235 crores. Besides Steel & Plastic Packaging the Company has also got Windmills of 1250 KVA installed in Tamilnadu and the power generated is consumed by our factories at Gumudipoondi. Tulsyan Group has interests in Information Technology. Its subsidiary company - Cosmic Global in Chennai is into I.T. enabled services for the last 10 years catering to USA & Europe markets. The group also has interests in Logistics with a turnover of over Rs.25 Crores.
