Shingora is a story of dreams, hard work and enterprise; each with an important place in the journey from 8 looms worked on manually to a business enterprise recognisable around the world. Shingora stands tall on the administrative might of none other than its President, Mr. Ashok Jain. With the background of a small wool business with his brothers in the 60s, he has been instrumental in engineering the success of Shingora. Ample experience in the industry, along with his keen sense of enterprise made him the right choice to head a business poised for such growth. Under his able guidance, each step has found sure footing and right direction. The seed for the success story was sown by his wife, Mrs. Mridula Jain, Managing Director, Shingora. It was her dream to create something that would appeal to the modern day woman, that she could incorporate into her everyday style. Thus, the legendary Shingora shawl was born. Initially woven on a few handlooms and graduating to machine production incorporating the best of technology and tradition, it found its way into wardrobes of the most stylish women around the world as shawls, scarfs, stoles and gradually accessories for men and kids as well. Infusing fresh passion into Shingora, their elder son, Mr. Amit Jain, President, Shingora, turned the handloom driven manufacturing to a digitised, system driven industry. He brought to Shingora infrastructural strength that makes it capable of taking on the biggest names in the global industry. Mr. Anuj Jain, CEO, Shingora, the younger sibling of the Jain family, brought with him the stamp of many respected compliances, financial acumen and information administration reforms that put Shingora's information management at par with international standards. Together, the Jain family over two generations has, along with their extended family of workers and staff, created a heritage of quality products that resonates across genders, ages and regions, nurtured with love, passion and dedication.
