Proton eMas showroom by SG Car opened in Shah Alam; 30 Pro-Net dealer outlets by end of 2024
- The first Proton eMas showroom has been opened in Shah Alam to showcase and facilitate sales of the Proton eMas 7, the brand's first battery-electric vehicle.
- Operated by SG Car under the Setia Gemilang group, the showroom is located at the Ideal Convention Centre in Shah Alam.
- The showroom houses both internal combustion and fully electric vehicles and has seating for up to 30 guests in the customer lounge.
- Pro-Net, Proton's EV division, has appointed 37 dealers nationwide, and 30 outlets are expected to be fully operational by the end of 2024.

Proton eMas 7 warranty – full battery replacement if SoH falls below 70% within 8 years or 160,000 km

- The Guidelines on the Transition of Government Vehicles to EVs is a guide document prepared by the NRES ministry and aims to make EVs comprise half of the government fleet.
- The transition strategy includes fleet evaluation, EV selection, charging infrastructure planning, cost analysis, carbon emission reduction, and emphasis on safety, monitoring, reporting, and training.
