To usher Socio-Economic Transformation in the lives of poor village people, especially inaccessible tribal hamlets, Community Polytechnic Scheme was introduced in the Polytechnic in 1994*95
In recognition of exemplary dedication and strenuous hardwork put forth by the staff members, braving all adversities inherent in hill areas, this Polytechnic was bestowed with Canada India Institutional Cooperation Project in 2002.
