Computer Access Pvt. Ltd, an Enterprise business solutions company was started in 1992 & was Reuters´s, Technical Service Agents for India. Service broadly consisted of on-line information based on receive-only VSAT's and international and domestic foreign exchange dealing on leased lines. 800+ sites all over India with over 1200 leased lines. Till mid-99 there were hardly two significant national leased line based networks, - Reuters and SITA, - because of the prohibitive cost. In May '99, DOT crashed the rates for leased lines by more than 90% and the proliferation of leased line based networks began. Having had experience in the business, CAPL soon became a business partner with most of the leading systems integrators in the country and is today the foremost facilitator in the business with the widest geographical spread across India.
