Data Engineer - ETL/Snowflake DB (5-7 yrs)

Job Description :

Primary Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL pipelines to process and transform large datasets.

- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.

- Optimize and tune data processing workflows for performance and efficiency.

- Implement data quality checks and ensure data integrity across various data sources.

- Manage and maintain relational databases and data warehouses.

- Utilize cloud-based data platforms (e.g , Snowflake, Databricks) to store and process data.

- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to ensure reliability and performance.

- Document data engineering processes and best practices.

Skills Required :

- 5 to 8 Years of experience as a data engineer or similar roles.

- Proficiency in Apache Spark for large-scale data processing.

- Strong programming skills in Python.

- Advanced knowledge of SQL for querying and manipulating data.

- Experience with relational databases.

- Proven experience in building and maintaining scalable ETL pipelines.

- Experience with data cloud platforms such as Snowflake or Databricks.

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Skills Desired :

- Experience with other big data technologies (e.g , Kafka).

- Knowledge of data modelling and data warehousing concepts.

- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g , Docker, Kubernetes).

- Experience with version control systems (e.g , Git).

- Understanding of data governance and compliance requirements.
