ZoftSolutions - Python Developer - Solution Design (5-6 yrs)

We are seeking a skilled Python Developer with expertise in API development and backend architecture.

The ideal candidate will have experience in designing and implementing scalable solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and adhering to best practices in software development.

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Design APIs, application, and database architecture for enterprise sub-systems.

- Develop APIs and business logic using Python 3.

- Collaborate with UI and other cross-functional teams to integrate backend solutions.

- Implement unit and integration tests using TDD and BDD approaches.

- Document backend logic and functionality for effective communication of implementation details.

- Work in agile scrum teams to iteratively deliver application functionality.

Skills and Qualifications Required :

- 5+ years of experience as an API Developer using object-oriented Python.

- At least 1+ year of experience developing APIs with AWS Serverless technologies (e., Lambda, AppSync, DynamoDB, Step Functions).

- Proficiency in designing and implementing backend architecture with relational and non-relational databases.

- Strong skills in object-oriented design and implementation using Python 3.

- Experience in developing unit and integration tests.

- Familiarity with agile methodologies and working in scrum teams.

Preferred Skills :

- Knowledge of serverless architecture and AWS tools.

- Ability to document complex backend solutions clearly.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
