Zetwerk - Quality Assurance Engineer - Black Box/White Box Testing (1-3 yrs)

Responsibilities :

1. Case Development :

- Create comprehensive and well-structured test cases based on requirements and specifications.

- Ensure test cases cover various scenarios and edge cases.

2. Test Execution :

- Execute test cases meticulously and accurately.

- Report defects in a clear and concise manner using defect tracking tools.

- Verify fixes and retest accordingly.

3. Defect Tracking :

- Track and manage defects throughout their lifecycle using defect tracking tools.

- Provide detailed defect reports with steps to reproduce.

4. Learning and Adaptation :

- Continuously learn new testing techniques, tools, and technologies.

- Adapt to changing requirements and project priorities.

5. Team Collaboration :

- Collaborate effectively with developers, testers, and other team members.

- Contribute to a positive and productive team environment.

- 1 to 3 years of quality assurance testing experience in a technology industry or equivalent.

- Bachelor's degree with concentrations in computer science or equivalent.

- Excellent testing skills.

- Well-versed in SDLC and STLC.

- Self-motivation and a strong bias for action; the ability to hit aggressive productivity goals.

- Strong communication skills; the ability to partner with team members and internal partners effectively.

- Understanding of testing methodologies (e.g., black-box, white-box, regression), test case design techniques (e.g., equivalence partitioning, boundary value analysis), and defect tracking.

- Understanding of programming concepts (variables, data types, control flow) and scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript) for automation (optional but beneficial).
