- Managing day-to-day operations of the unit
- Developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective operations
- Hiring, training, and managing a team of employees, providing feedback, coaching, and development opportunities as necessary
- Setting performance goals and expectations for employees, and regularly reviewing progress toward those goals
- Monitoring and analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven decisions
- Ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards
- Identifying and implementing process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity
- Managing budget and resources effectively, ensuring that expenses are within budgetary constraints
