Job Description

Job Duties
- Lead and support CFD projects across all product divisions - burners, flares, thermal oxidizers, vapor.
- Work closely with the Computational Group at Zeeco headquarters in Tulsa, OK.
- Support the research and development projects that require CFD analyses.
- Interpret and present simulation findings clearly to help guide engineering design decisions.
- Prepare technical reports and presentations.
- Work with complicated geometry, fluid flows, turbulence and reactions within CFD.
- Utilize your knowledge in CFD and programming to improve the CFD workflow.
- Contribute to the long-term business and technical objectives of the Computational Group and Zeeco as whole.
- Other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- Master s degree in mechanical or chemical engineering required. Doctorate degree preferred.
- Prior experience in combustion preferred.
- Microsoft Office Suite experience required.
- Extensive experience using CFD tools such as ANSYS FLUENT or SIEMENS STAR-CCM+ is required.
- CAD experience required. (Tools such as SOLIDWORKS, Autodesk Inventor, SpaceClaim, etc.)
- Minimum industry experience of 1 year.
- Programming experience preferred. (Python, Java, C++, Fortran, R, etc.)
- Linux experience preferred.
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal with an ability to present complex technical information clearly.
