Senior Python Developer

Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Python Developer with experience in Generative AI (Gen AI) or Machine Learning (ML) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Python web development, FAST API, and AWS services. They should be proficient in building scalable applications and possess excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.

Role & responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain high-performance, scalable Python applications.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs using FAST API.
• Work with AWS cloud services to develop and deploy scalable applications.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and efficiency.
• Implement best practices for scalable application architecture and performance tuning.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop innovative solutions.
• Independently contribute to projects while also mentoring junior developers when required.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues efficiently.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 6+ years of software development experience with a focus on Python.
• Strong experience in Python web development using FAST API.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services (Lambda, S3, EC2, RDS, DynamoDB, etc.).
• Experience in developing scalable applications, including concepts like microservices architecture, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), caching, and asynchronous processing.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
• Experience in leading a team or taking ownership of critical tasks when required.

Good to Have:

• Experience in Generative AI (Gen AI) or Machine Learning (ML).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of message queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka, etc.).
• Understanding of security best practices in cloud applications.
