1. Legal Advisory & Compliance
Provide legal advice to internal stakeholders on various business matters, including compliance with corporate laws, labor laws, and regulatory requirements.
Monitor and ensure compliance with statutory laws, regulations, and organizational policies.
Assist in implementing internal legal processes to manage risk.
2. Drafting & Reviewing Legal Documents
Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents such as NDAs, MOUs, employment agreements, channel partner agreements and vendor contracts.
Assist in preparing legal notices, responses, and other legal correspondences.
3. Litigation Management
Coordinate and manage litigation matters, including liaising with external counsel for ongoing cases.
Collect, organize, and maintain case-related data and evidence.
Monitor court proceedings and report case status to the management.
4. Legal Research
Conduct legal research on applicable laws, judgments, and amendments impacting the business.
Stay updated on regulatory changes, legal trends, and case laws relevant to the organization's operations.
5. Document Management
Maintain a proper repository of all legal documents and records.
Ensure accurate and timely filing of legal documents and agreements.
6. Contract Management
Assist in reviewing and implementing contract lifecycle management processes.
Analyze contractual risks and propose amendments to safeguard the companys interests.
7. Dispute Resolution
Support pre-litigation settlements and negotiations.
Participate in dispute resolution and arbitration processes as required.
Handling Consumer matters ready to attend matter in Pan India
Due Diligence: Conduct due diligence on corporate transactions, including reviewing financial statements, contracts, and other documents.
Regulatory Compliance: Advise on regulatory compliance matters, including company law, consumer law, BNS, BNSS and data protection law.
Corporate Governance: Provide advice on corporate governance matters, including board composition, shareholder meetings, and executive compensation.
Client Communication: Communicate with clients to understand their needs, provide updates on project status, and advise on legal strategies.
Experience and Skills
Minimum 3-4 years of experience as a legal executive, legal assistant, or in a similar role. Prior experience in a corporate legal department or law firm is preferred. . (Preferably from the similar or service industry)
