Python Lead Developer

• Implement pre-defined algorithms used to assess the health and operating efficiency of commercial refrigeration systems.
• Write algorithms in python, relying on standard python data libraries, especially NumPy.

Utilize existing data storage solutions and data access APIs .

• Standardize processes for code quality while sustaining the robustness of code.
• Bring forward and help drive creative ideas, provide technical expertise, and support other team members, collaborators, and customers.
• Use cloud platforms and containerization technologies (e.g., AWS, Docker etc.) for development and test environment.
• Write unit and regression tests for all code as part of development process.
• Participate as an active member of daily standups, Sprint meetings, and other Agile/Scrum processes.

• Bachelor s degree in engineering with computers, electricals or Electronics and IT field
• 7+ years Python experience including strong understanding of object-oriented programming.
• 3+ years experience developing a customer facing production cloud application.
• Experience with python data manipulation libraries, including NumPy and Pandas
• Experience with array programming using NumPy.
• Experience with Linux development environment.
• Experience using both SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with version control systems (git, GitHub)
• Experience with cloud computing and cloud hosting services; AWS experience preferred.

• Background with data analytics, statistics, and time-series data.
• Experience with JIRA
• Enjoys working with low-level data.
