Job Title : Data Analyst

- We are looking for Data Analysts who will review mapping data for digital mapping applications.

- Your research capabilities will validate and ensure that the navigation of certain routes are accurate and safe.

- As part of this role you will verify that business names and opening hours are correct. You will check that the distance from a starting point to an end destination is listed accurately resulting in better user experiences.

- Conduct data analysis across verticals to provide actionable insights and recommendations that drive strategic and operational decision-making.

- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop dashboards and reports to monitor business health and identify improvement opportunities.

- Work with stakeholders to identify gaps in data collection, data quality and hygiene, analysis, reporting, and implement solutions to address these challenges.

- Collaborate with various teams (e.g., Product, Marketing, Operations) to support data-driven initiatives and help troubleshoot issues.

- Design and analyze experiments to test hypotheses and guide decision-making, ensuring data-driven changes are effectively implemented.

- Take on additional projects as needed, demonstrating flexibility and a collaborative spirit to support the startups agile environment.

- Drive the development and execution of analytics strategies, collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather insights, track key performance metrics, and derive actionable conclusions to support business objectives.

Candidate Requirements :

- Bachelors degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or related field.

- Proficiency in data analysis and visualisation tools such as SQL, Python/R, Tableau, Excel; understanding of database management.

- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvement.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.

- Adaptability : Comfortable working in an evolving startup environment and willing to take on additional responsibilities as required.

- Strong verbal and written skills, including professional emailing etiquette.

Tech Stack & Skills Required :

- Data Analytics, Python, SQL, Tableau/Power BI (visualisation tool), Dashboard building from the scratch, Providing actionable insights & recommendations in decision-making (strategic and operational).
