Job Description :

1. The Automation QE/SDET Engineer is primarily responsible to establish and maintain quality standards for the set of applications built by the team.

2. Develop and execute a comprehensive test strategy, including manual and automated testing, to ensure the platform meets high quality standards.

3. Drive test automation efforts, utilizing industry leading tools and frameworks to improve test coverage and efficiency.

4. Work closely with the Developers and seniors to achieve a high level of code coverage.

5. You create the necessary automation library and framework.

6. Implementing and maintaining automated test suites for daily runs and regression.

7. Involved in integration tests, API tests, UI tests, and system tests.

8. Excellent debugging skills, measures, and analyses code for quality.

9. This position will be working with automation using Java/Python, Selenium (Serenity Framework), Playwright (Java Framework).

10. Experience with API automation using REST Assured framework and Postman.

11. Collaborate with product managers, software engineers and other stack holders to define Test case and Test plans.

12. Position will be an individual contributor who is responsible for the preparation of test data, test planning and execution, reporting on testing status and reporting test results for to all partners for assigned projects.

13. Implement effective defect management processes and drive timely issue resolution.

14. Using business requirements documents analyze changes or modified code to create QA test plans in JIRA

15. Review existing test plans and scripts to determine where re-usable and/or improvements can be made.

16. Create test plans and scripts for new and changed functionality as per department policies and manual testing procedures for functional positive/negative testing, regression, End to End/Integration.

17. Ensure test data sets are created for QA testing.

18. Ensure all manual QA documentation and QC manual test plan are maintained and kept up to date for SME applications.

19. Participate in process improvement initiatives to ensure consistent testing methodologies.

20. Set up, maintaining, and performing test automation frameworks on multiple application platforms, such as Mobile, Desktop, and Web, and building test scenarios and acceptance tests

21. Perform the functional (positive/negative), regression, end-to-end/integration testing for new and changed functionality to ensure that requirements have been met, that system behavior is as expected

22. Identify points of failure by tracing them to the original source code, where applicable.

23. Liaise with the development teams and business team on testing discrepancies identified.
