Database developer

The Role

• Develop and optimize SQL scripts, DF pipelines, Power BI reports to meet application functionality, data requirements, analytics and performance requirements.
• Working closely with application developers to assist with data-related technical issues and help ensure delivering data driven solutions.
• Follow processes and procedures for the development and release of products and services that facilitate high quality and rapid development
• Publish documentations and collaborative information using internal tools.

The Requirements

• Expertise in extracting and integrating data from different sources using ADF, Data flows
• 2-4 years of experience working as database developer/Engineer. With Azure SQL database, Synapse, Cosmos, and Azure Data Factory.
• Hands on development experience in Azure SQL database - coding SQL queries, stored procedures, ADF, Power BI, different Azure storage services.
• Experience in Troubleshooting and resolving data/pipeline related issues.
• Expertise in Database design, DB schemas, objects, data modelling are nice-to-have skills
• Strong understanding of database development methodologies (Source control, Release Management, CICD, Agile and Scrum)
• Experience with CICD tools dev ops a big plus.
• Strong organizational abilities and flexibility to work in a performance-driven environment managing multiple deliverables
