Front-End Angular Developer/Lead Job Description

Objectives & Responsibilities

• Create design and user-focused experiences
• Participate in all aspects of agile software development including design, implementation and deployment
• Create wireframes and mockups of application designs
• Develop, maintain and enhance web applications using AngularJS/Angular
• Collaborate with back-end developers to integrate front-end components
• Optimize applications to improve performance, efficiency and scalability
• Perform tasks accurately and to our quality standards
• Staying up to date with the latest industry trends, and technologies ensures applications should be highly innovative
• Collaborate across time zones

Required skills

• At least 5 years of experience in building large-scale web-based applications using front-end frameworks and libraries
• Strong hand-on experience on AngularJS/Angular
• Design, build and maintain efficient and reusable code
• Experience in building functional and effective platforms
• Proficient in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3 and Bootstrap
• Experience in integrating RESTful API’s and web services
• Experience in understanding and executing SQL queries
• Strong understanding of asynchronous programming including Promises and Observables
• Design and present UX demonstrations to stakeholders
• Experience with Team Foundation Server (TFS) tool
• Experience working with SaaS platforms and Microsoft Azure Cloud IaaS & Services
• Perform thorough testing and debugging to ensure applications are competitive while ensuring high performance and security
• Collaborating with other developers to enhance application features

Work experience and qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience in cutting edge organizations or startups
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in computer science, information technology, or engineering
• Professional certification
