Job Description
As a WordPress Developer, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining custom WordPress themes and plugins, ensuring the highest levels of performance, and delivering exceptional user experiences. You will collaborate with our design and content teams to bring creative ideas to life while adhering to best practices in coding and SEO.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain custom WordPress themes and plugins.
- Collaborate with design, content, and marketing teams to implement new features and enhance website functionality.
- Optimize website performance, including speed, SEO, and user experience.
- Troubleshoot and resolve website issues in a timely manner.
- Ensure website security by following best practices and updating WordPress core, themes, and plugins regularly.
- Customize and configure third-party plugins to meet specific business needs.
- Participate in the full development lifecycle, including planning, development, testing, and deployment.
- Minimum of 2 years as a WordPress Developer with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Proficiency in front-end technologies including HTML, CSS and JavaScript
- Strong understanding of PHP and MySQL.
- Experience with responsive design and mobile-first development.
- Familiarity with SEO best practices and tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with WooCommerce and other e-commerce plugins.
- Familiariy with website optimization tools like Google PageSpeed Insights.
