Job Description
We are expecting significant growth of our GEC in 2025 due to an increase in the requirement of Engineering support for our Automation and Controls projects in the UK.
As a result of this growth, we are looking for expressions of interest from Engineers across the following disciplines who have specific experience within Automation and Controls projects across the Oil Gas and Power sectors.
Control and Instrumentation Engineers
Control and Instrumentation Designers
Process Automation Engineers who must have experience in one or more of the following software packages; ABB MOD-300 or Advant Controller, Rockwell, HMI, DCS, Emerson Delta V, SCADA, Functional Safety and Honeywell
We are seeking to hear from individuals who are driven by solving complex technical challenges for our clients with excellent communication skills as part of an international team.
As an experienced Engineer or Designer in one of the above disciplines, you will support the implementation of projects in line with company objectives.
Expected:
- B.E./B.Tech Degree in relevant engineering discipline with some experience in conceptual studies, FEED, detailed engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) projects in Refinery / Petrochemical / Chemical / Power / Pharmaceutical Plant
- Knowledge with ISA Standards and other international standards for Automation and control projects
- Previous experience working on Automation and Controls projects within your specified discipline
Desirable:
- Professional Engineer or engineering chartership preferred
The key objectives for this role are:
The job specifications will vary depending on the role and discipline; however, all will involve the following:
- Provides engineering expertise across one of the disciplines as outlines above
- Responsible for identifying the discipline specific requirements and defining the solutions for the client
- Implements the defined engineering solutions
- Supporting the Engineering team in accomplishing project objectives
- Applies integration concepts to a wide variety of systems and across multiple vendor platforms
- Engineers technical aspects of discipline specific project design and / or implementation for assigned activities
- Prepares engineering studies and software design documentation as relevant
- Resolves specialty related engineering issues by applying accepted principles, codes, and standards
