XSLT Developer (5-7 yrs)

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop, test, and maintain XSLT scripts for converting XML data into multiple formats, including HTML, PDF, DOCX, IDML, and other required formats.

- Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to gather requirements for XML transformation processes.

- Write unit tests to validate XSLT transformations and ensure accuracy in all outputs.

- Debug and optimize XSLT logic to enhance performance and address any transformation-related errors or inconsistencies.

- Analyze XML schema structures and ensure XSLT logic adheres to data requirements and expected output formats.

- Optimize XML/XSLT processing workflows for efficiency and scalability.

- Work with tools and technologies that transform XML data into final documents such as PDFs, Word DOCX, HTML pages, or IDML for design-related processes.

- Maintain high-quality, well-documented, and reusable XSLT logic/code.

- Ensure adherence to team standards, version control protocols, and coding best practices.

- Work closely with business analysts, database developers, QA engineers, and other team members to ensure the success of XSLT transformation workflows.

- Participate in requirement gathering sessions and design discussions as needed.

- Optimize XSLT scripts and transformation logic to ensure timely processing of large datasets.

- Leverage profiling and performance tuning tools to monitor and address inefficiencies.

- Provide ongoing support for existing transformation pipelines.

- Troubleshoot production issues related to XML transformations and resolve them in a timely manner.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Proven 5+ years of experience developing XSLT scripts for XML transformation purposes.

- Deep understanding of XSLT 1.0 / 2.0 / 3.0, XML schema, XPath, and XML parsing logic.

- Proficiency in converting XML data to multiple formats, including HTML, PDF, DOCX, IDML.

- Strong problem-solving skills related to XSLT logic and data transformation challenges.

- Familiarity with XML-related technologies and schemas, such as DTD, XSD, XML namespaces, and advanced XML query patterns.

- Experience with version control systems like Git, TFS, or similar tools.

- Familiarity with document generation tools like Adobe InDesign, PDF rendering libraries, or other similar tools.

- Experience in using transformation engines like Altova MapForce, Saxon, Stylus Studio, or equivalent XSLT processing tools.

- Exposure to database systems and integrations (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle) with XML-based workflows.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.

- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a remote team environment.

Education :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field is preferred but not mandatory
