Job Description
- As a Full Stack PHP Developer at Whizpalstech
- com, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications and websites that meet our clients' needs and align with industry standards
- You will work collaboratively with our cross-functional teams, including designers, project managers, and other developers, to create exceptional digital experiences
- The ideal candidate should be well-versed in PHP and have hands-on experience with multiple frameworks, with a passion for staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices
- Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with the team to gather and analyze project requirements, technical specifications, and design documents
- Develop scalable and efficient web applications using PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other relevant technologies
- Utilize CodeIgniter, Laravel, Drupal, and WordPress frameworks to build robust and secure web solutions
- Customize and extend existing themes, plugins, and modules for WordPress and Drupal-based projects
- Integrate external APIs and third-party services to enhance functionality and user experience
- Optimize applications for maximum speed, performance, and scalability
- Conduct thorough testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure the reliability and integrity of the codebase
- Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in web development
- Collaborate with the UX/UI team to implement visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces
- Work closely with project managers to meet project milestones and deliverables within the specified timelines
- Ensure that all projects adhere to coding standards and follow best practices in software development
- Continuously improve the efficiency and effectiveness of development processes
Requirements
- Proven work experience as a Full Stack PHP Developer, with a solid understanding of PHP development and OOP concepts
- Hands-on experience with CodeIgniter, Laravel, Drupal, and WordPress, with the ability to work on projects across these frameworks
- Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery
- Experience in developing and consuming RESTful APIs and working with JSON and XML data formats
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git for collaborative development
- Strong understanding of MySQL or other relational databases and the ability to write efficient SQL queries
- Knowledge of website security best practices to ensure the protection of sensitive data
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills to identify and resolve technical issues
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team and across departments
- Bonus SkillsExperience with other PHP frameworks or CMS platforms
- Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks such as Vue
- js, React, or Angular
- Familiarity with server management and deployment processes
