Job Description:

Role and Responsibilities

1. Conduct detailed analysis of plant production costs, including raw materials, labor, overhead, and other expenses. Provide regular reports and insights to senior management.

2. Responsible for proving lead time for each customer RFQ.

3. Develop, implement, and maintain standard costing methods for all products, ensuring accurate cost allocation across various production processes.

4. Responsible for analysis of standard cost and actual costs, identifying the causes of variances.

5. Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives and process improvements to optimize plant operations, reduce waste, and improve profitability.

6. Work closely with production, procurement, and engineering teams to ensure that costing data is aligned with operational realities and support cost-effective decision-making.

7. Prepare and present detailed cost reports, profit margin analysis, and other financial metrics to senior management for review and strategic planning.

8. Ensure compliance with internal financial policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements related to cost accounting and financial reporting. Support internal and external audits.

9. Lead initiatives to improve costing systems, processes, and methodologies, ensuring the plant remains competitive and cost-effective in its operations.

10. In case of absence from duty, he is responsible for assigning his duties to sub-ordinates to ensure effective implementation of his responsibilities.
