DevOps Engineer - Ataccama & Cloud Infrastructure (8-12 yrs)

About the Role :

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled DevOps Engineer to join our growing team.

In this role, you will play a critical part in the successful implementation and management of our Ataccama data management and governance solutions.

You will also be responsible for building, maintaining, and automating our cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.

Key Responsibilities :

Ataccama Expertise :

- Implement, configure, and maintain Ataccama products related to data quality, master data management, and data governance.

- Ensure the smooth operation and performance of Ataccama solutions.

- Troubleshoot and resolve Ataccama-related issues.

Cloud Infrastructure Management :

- Manage and automate the deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS).

- Provision and manage AWS cloud resources (e.g, EC2, S3, RDS) using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible.

- Implement and manage auto-scaling groups and other AWS services.

CI/CD & Automation:

- Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Bitbucket, and Sonarqube.

- Automate routine tasks and infrastructure provisioning using scripting languages (Python, Perl, Bash) and IaC tools.

- Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks.

Monitoring & Logging :

- Implement and maintain robust monitoring and logging systems (e.g, AWS CloudWatch, Splunk) to track system performance, identify issues, and ensure high availability.

- Analyze logs and system metrics to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.

Collaboration :

- Work closely with development, product, data engineering, and testing teams to understand their needs and ensure smooth collaboration.

- Communicate effectively and clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Ataccama Experience: Proven experience with Ataccama's data management and governance suite or similar tools.

Strong understanding of data governance principles.

DevOps Expertise: Proficiency in DevOps methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, version control systems (Git), automated testing, and agile practices.

Cloud Computing: In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms, particularly AWS.

Experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, EKS, and IAM.

Containerization & Orchestration: Strong understanding of containerization technologies (Docker) and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes).

Automation & Scripting: Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Perl, Bash) and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform, Ansible).

Technical Skills :

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Communication & Collaboration: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Ability to effectively collaborate within a team and across departments.

Tools :

- Experience with tools like Jenkins, Bitbucket, Sonarqube, AWS CloudWatch, Splunk.

Preferred Qualifications :

- 8-12 yrs of experience with other cloud platforms (e.g, Azure, GCP).

- Experience with data integration tools and technologies.
