Atacamma Developer - Data Quality (2-5 yrs)

About the Role :

We are seeking a talented Ataccama DQ Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing robust data quality solutions using the Ataccama platform.

You will play a pivotal role in ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across our organization.

Responsibilities :

Data Quality Framework Development :

- Develop and implement comprehensive data quality standards, metrics, and frameworks using Ataccama.

- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to understand data requirements and define data quality rules.

Data Profiling and Analysis :

- Conduct in-depth data profiling and analysis to identify data inconsistencies, anomalies, and missing values.

- Utilize Ataccama's data profiling capabilities to assess data quality and identify improvement areas.

Data Quality Plan Creation :

Design and execute data quality plans for various data sources and processes, including :

- Lookup and reference data management

- Data cleansing and standardization

- Data parsing and transformation

- Data matching and deduplication

Ataccama Platform Expertise :

- Gain deep expertise in the Ataccama platform, including its data quality modules, data integration capabilities, and reporting tools.

- Utilize Ataccama's features to automate data quality checks, generate reports, and monitor data quality metrics.

Technical Skills :

- Proficiency in SQL and experience with various databases (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL).

- Strong understanding of ETL processes and tools, preferably Informatica or IDQ.

- Familiarity with Unix scripting and shell scripting.

Collaboration and Communication :

- Effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to articulate data quality issues and solutions.

- Collaborate with data engineers, data analysts, and business users to ensure data quality requirements are met.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- At least 2 years of experience working with Ataccama ONE.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Passion for data quality and a desire to drive data-driven decision-making
