Role & responsibilities

• Event Planning: Develop and manage a comprehensive annual plan for Daree events and activities from inception to execution, including timelines, budgets, and logistics.
• Vendor Management: Identify, negotiate, and manage relationships with vendors, agency and suppliers, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.
• Team Leadership: Lead and coordinate a team of event staff, delegating tasks and providing guidance to ensure smooth operations for each event.
• Budget Management: Prepare and manage budgets for Daree events providing regular updates to stakeholders on financial performance.
• Marketing Support: Collaborate with marketing teams to promote events through various channels, enhancing visibility and attendance.
• On-site Management: Oversee event setup, execution, and teardown, ensuring all aspects run smoothly and any issues are resolved promptly.
• Post-Event Evaluation: Conduct debriefs and evaluations post-event to assess success and gather insights for future improvements.
• Strategy Development: Create and execute a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with overall marketing goals and objectives.
• Content Creation: Develop engaging and shareable content tailored to each platform (YouTube, X, Instagram, Facebook & others), including graphics, videos, and written posts.
• Community Management: Monitor, respond to, and engage with followers across all social media channels, fostering a positive community and brand loyalty.
• Analytics and Reporting: Track, analyze, and report on social media performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
• Campaign Management: Plan and execute social media campaigns for product launches, promotions, and events, ensuring timely and effective execution.
• Trend Monitoring: Stay updated on industry trends, emerging platforms, and best practices to keep our social media strategy relevant and innovative.
• Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency in messaging and branding across all channels.
• Advertising: Manage social media advertising campaigns, including budget allocation, targeting, and performance analysis.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in event planning and management, preferably in an organizational culture or employee engagement context.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in project management tools and digital software.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
• Creative problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms, tools, and analytics.
• Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
• Creative mindset with an eye for design and detail.
• Proficiency in social media management tools and graphic design software (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
