BA_Taxation_Direct Tax_SSC

As an Officer in the Direct Tax department, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the organization's tax compliance, tax planning, and other tax-related matters. You will be expected to have a deep understanding of direct taxation and be proficient in using SAP or other IT-related applications in Finance & Accounts. You will also be expected to have a strong understanding of compliance, applicable rules & laws, and be proficient in Excel.

Requirement of candidate is Semi-qualified Chartered Accountant / MBA - Finance, M.com with relevant experience of 4-6 years in the field of TDS/TCS and assessment thereof. JOB Description 1. Verification of TDS section and TDS rates 2. Checking of status of PAN 3. Generation of monthly TDS/TCS liability and payment thereof 4. Quarterly/Half yearly reco. of 26AS 5. TDS Assessment notices reply related working

Responsibility

1. To ensure timely deduction of TDS 2. To ensure deducted TDS has been deposited with Govt. treasurey on obr before the due dates 3. To do the reco. of 26AS on timely basis and to give impact of the same in the books 4. To ensure TDS has been made at appropriate rates in case of Non-operative PAN & specified person 5. To prepare the basic working for giving reply to any notice
