Job Description
- The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2- 3 years of experience as an Automation lead, development of automation framework and automation (functional) test scripts
- Must have proven experience developing custom automation scripts in Selenium using Java.
- Must have experience in creating test Strategies
- US customer interaction experience is a must
- Should be able to switch between customer domains/products
- Should be able to understand different domains by referring to the internet and self-learning.
- Excellent analytical and logical skills to think through new applications and strategize testing.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Agile software development methodology and best practices.
- Exposure to JIRA
- Must have good Manual testing experience and ability to write quality test cases.
- Good to have a working knowledge of Postman Collection Automation
- Good to have working knowledge of API documentation tools such as Swagger or OpenAPI.
The responsibilities in this position shall include:
- Active client interaction.
- Manage a team of testers and ensure that deliverables are met on time.
- Understand the requirements and prepare an Automation test plan/test strategy accordingly
- Generate and modify test cases/scripts using Web Driver methods, element locators, TestNG Annotations, and Java.
- Create and verify Web services API requests, and SOAP Protocols.
- To enhance test automation resources and maintenance of resources
- Explore the application to define the test strategy and write test scenarios
- Independently able to understand new domains.
- Collaborate with customers as well as Webomates stakeholders across the organization to ensure business alignment.

- This is a key customer interaction role, the person must have a high level of responsibility and accountability.
- Flexible and adaptable to working in a startup environment.
- Open to be available to take customer calls in EST timings at least twice a week.
- Ability to work in a remote environment with the required infrastructure.
