Java Software Engineer IV

Requirements:

• 8+ years of progressive work experience designing & developing solutions for business initiatives
• Possesses a bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent
• Leverages or knowledgeable of the following languages & frameworksJava version 8 and above Javascript, React.js, and Node.js SQL (Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL) HTML/CSS Bootstrap
• Works with RESTful APIs and web services
• Experience designing and using micro-service architecture.
• Knowledge of Object-Oriented Design (OOD) principles.
• An understanding of database design principles & query languages.
• Leverages Git, Gitlab, Jenkins, Kubernetes/Openshift, Docker, or similar tools for delivery.
• Implements code-based unit tests
• Writes technical documentation
• Gathers technical requirements
• Evangelizes development best practices
• Advocates for Agile software development methodologies
• Designs efficient and performant solutions
• Mentors others on technology-related languages, concepts, practices, & tools
• Works effectively with other functional teams including Leadership, Product, Security, & Architecture
• Maintains composure and professionalism during high-pressure situations
• Demonstrates critical thinking
• Takes initiative and ownership of their work
• Willingness to help facilitate Agile ceremonies
• Prior healthcare industry experience is a plus
• Experience with AWS or other cloud provider is a plus
