Web Developer Lead

In this role, you lead a team of web developers to design, build, and maintain high-quality websites and applications. • WordPress, Magento and Shopify experience is a must.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP Frameworks (e.g. Laravel, Codeigniter) and other front-end technologies.
• Experience with back-end development frameworks (e.g., ReactsJS, Node.js, Django, Ruby on Rails).
• Familiarity with databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Experience with Agile\/Scrum methodologies.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., GCP, AWS, Azure).
• Experience in mobile-responsive design and development.
• Knowledge of web security best practices.
• Website hosting and management. Experience:
  • 5+ years of experience in web development, with at least one year in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience managing and leading a team of developers.
  • Strong portfolio of successful web development projects. Key Responsibilities: Team Leadership:

      • Plan, prioritize, and manage multiple web development projects simultaneously.
      • Coordinate with stakeholders to gather requirements and define project scope and deliverables.
      • Ensure timely and successful delivery of projects, adhering to quality standards.
      • Identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure timely solutions are delivered. Technical Expertise:
        • Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of websites and applications.
        • Ensure the technical feasibility of UI\/UX designs.
        • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
        • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
        • Conduct code reviews to maintain code quality, performance, and security standards. Communication & Collaboration:
          • Act as the primary point of contact for the web development team.
          • Collaborate with project managers, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure the alignment of project goals.
          • Provide regular updates to senior management on project status, challenges, and solutions. Problem Solving & Innovation:
            • Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing websites and applications.
