Design and Develop Learning Modules: Create engaging learning content on artificial intelligence, customized for different audiences including students, teachers, policymakers, farmers, and government officials amongst others.
Content Creation Across Formats: Develop instructional materials in various formats (e-learning, video tutorials, manuals, workshops, etc.) to meet the needs of diverse learners.
User-Centric Design: Employ instructional design principles focusing on learner engagement, knowledge retention, and practical application.
Quality Checks: Ensure the learning content is grammatically sound and high-quality.
Needs Assessment: Conduct assessments to understand the specific learning requirements of each target audience and tailor content accordingly.
Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts: Work closely with AI experts within the organization to ensure content accuracy and relevance.
Evaluate Learning Outcomes: Create quizzes, polls, and other post-assessment tools that best suit learners needs to gauge learning outcomes and gather feedback.
Create Documentation Reports: Write nuanced project reports that focus on the methodology, proceedings, challenges, and successes of capacity-building programs within the Institute.
Stay Updated: Keep abreast of the latest trends in AI, instructional design, and education technology to ensure that learning materials remain current and impactful.
REQUIREMENTS
Educational Background: Bachelor s or Master s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Learning and Development, or a related field. Knowledge of AI is a plus.
Experience: 5+ years of experience in instructional design, preferably with experience in capacity building and developing content for a diverse range of learners. Strong knowledge of adolescent and adult learning principles.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in e-learning authoring tools, learning management systems (LMS), MS Excel, PowerPoint, and multimedia production tools.
Understanding of AI: Strong foundational knowledge of artificial intelligence, with the ability to translate complex concepts into accessible learning materials.
Design Skills: Possessing strong design skills and the ability to independently design multimedia output for SCORM including presentations, videos, study guides, and interactive assessments.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify technical content for non-technical audiences.
Project Management: Managing program delivery end-to-end, including working with multiple internal and external stakeholders to meet key deliverables.
