Job description
The Senior Human Resources Manager will develop and execute a human resource strategy in support of the company's overall business plan and strategic direction. This includes succession planning, talent management, change management, organizational and performance management, training and development, and compensation. The Senior HR Manager will provide strategic leadership by articulating HR needs and plans to the executive management team, shareholders, and the board of directors.
Roles & Responsibilities
1. Strategic Leadership
- Develop HR plans and strategies to support the achievement of the overall business operations objectives
- Function as a strategic business advisor to the executive/senior management of each business unit regarding key organizational and management issues
2. Talent Management
- Work with the recruitment team to attract, retain, and develop high-quality talent
- Design and implement a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy
- Develop comprehensive strategic recruiting and retention plans to meet the human capital needs of strategic goals
3. Performance Management
- Develop and implement a performance management system that aligns with corporate and operational
- Provide oversight and direction regarding performance management, workforce planning, succession planning
4. Training and Development
- Develop and implement comprehensive compensation and benefits plans that are competitive and cost-effective for the firm.
- Offer expert advice on staff learning and development, career paths, and employee satisfaction initiatives
5. Compliance and Employee Relations
- Ensure that the organization complies with all existing governmental and labor legal requirements
- Direct the preparation of information requested or required for compliance
- Oversee the management of employee relations at all levels, ensuring adherence to company policies, ethics, and values
6. Culture and Environment
- Develop and nurture a positive working environment across all business locations
- Maintain management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in HR, business, or a related field
- 10+ years of HR experience, with at least 5 years of executive HR experience
- Experience in the BPO industry and knowledge of global HR practices, including expertise in the Indian and Philippines markets
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
