Odoo Developer

We are seeking an experienced Odoo Developer with over 3 years of hands-on expertise in developing and customizing Odoo applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of Python, Odoo modules, and a deep understanding of business processes to create effective solutions for our clients. This role involves developing, testing, and implementing custom modules, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality ERP solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Odoo Development and Customization:

Design, develop, and customize Odoo modules based on client requirements.

Build and maintain custom workflows, reports, and integrations to extend Odoo functionality.

Write efficient, reusable, and reliable code for Odoo apps and modules.

Requirement Gathering and Analysis:

Collaborate with project managers and business analysts to understand client needs and translate requirements into technical solutions.

Analyze business workflows to identify and recommend areas for Odoo implementation.

System Integration and Data Migration:

Integrate Odoo with third-party applications and other business systems, using APIs and web services.

Perform data migration from legacy systems into Odoo, ensuring data integrity and security.

Testing and Quality Assurance:

Conduct unit testing and participate in system and user acceptance testing to ensure that customizations meet business requirements.

Troubleshoot and debug code to optimize performance and resolve issues.

Documentation and User Support:

Document technical specifications, user guides, and module changes.

Provide technical support to end-users, including troubleshooting, bug fixes, and system enhancements.

Continuous Improvement and Learning:

Stay current with the latest Odoo versions, modules, and trends in ERP development.

Contribute to team knowledge-sharing by documenting best practices and solutions.

Requirements:

Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience:

Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Odoo Developer.

Proven experience with Odoo framework, Python, and PostgreSQL.

Skills:

Proficiency in Odoo development, including custom modules, workflow automation, and customization.

Strong command of Python programming and understanding of MVC architecture.

Familiarity with front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and XML.

Knowledge of RESTful APIs, web services, and integration techniques.

Experience with Git or similar version control systems.

Odoo certification is a plus.

Familiarity with agile development practices.
