*IRole & responsibilities

Execution Phase

RFQs/RFIs to be sent to relevant suppliers & collect techno-commercial offers.

Validate the offers technically with the concern department & commercially as per Purchase Policy

Negotiation with suppliers inline with the defined sourcing strategy

Ensure responsiveness to business needs by adhereing to the agreed SLAs/ turnaround time for order conversion.

Support closing out all of PJS / P.O.s / Contracts and retain records / archives for future reference

Provide procurement inputs for change order cost estimation to project management

Coordinate with the project/branch material co-ordination teams.

Build, maintain & manage supplier relationship & keep up good communications.

Maintain costing database, vendor assessments, spend reports for categories handled

PREFERABLE CATEGORY EXPERIENCE -

1. Extra Low Voltage (ELV) packages like -

a. Building Management System

b. Fire Alarm System

c. Public Address and Talk Back System

d. CCTV System

e. Access Control System

f. PLC SCADA

2. Field Instruments

3. DG Sets

4. Transformers

5. UPS

6. Light Fixtures

Proposal Phase

Support the proposal team for procurement cost estimation and lead time related information

Identify need for rate contracts and capacity bookings.

Liaise with category experts to identify procurement risks and develop risk mitigation strategies.

Monitor Market trend regular basis.

• Preferred candidate profile
• Engineering Degree - Electrical / Electronics
• Broad knowledge of procurement process and warehouse management practices in EPC projects
• Proficiency in negotiating with suppliers - dealers, OEMs
• Sound understanding of the supplier market and trends in India and globally
• Proficient in Advance Excel (Mandatory), eductions and knowledge of SAP MM
