Job Summary :
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in network administration, with a focus on IT security audits and compliance with security controls. This role requires a deep understanding of network infrastructure, security protocols, and best practices to ensure a secure and efficient network environment. Will be responsible for maintaining, optimizing and implementing robust security measures across both network and endpoint devices.
Key Responsibilities :
Network Management :
- Design, configure, and maintain local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), routers, switches, firewalls and network segments.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues ensure minimal downtime and optimal performance.
- Implement and enforce network security protocols to protect sensitive data.
Endpoint Security and Device Management :
- Deploy and manage Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions across the organization.
- Implement and maintain endpoint security tools including antivirus, EDR/XDR solutions, and DLP.
- Develop and enforce device security policies and compliance standards.
- Manage device lifecycle including procurement, configuration, deployment, and retirement.
Performance Monitoring :
- Utilize network monitoring tools to proactively assess network health and performance.
- Monitor endpoint security metrics and performance indicators.
Incident Response :
- Respond to network security incidents, investigate breaches and enhance the security posture of the network and endpoints.
Compliance :
- Work closely with compliance teams to ensure adherence to relevant security standards and frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR).
Documentation :
- Maintain accurate documentation of MDM policies, network configurations, endpoint security policies and incident response procedures.
- Generate reports on network performance, incidents, and support metrics for management review.
Technical Support :
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues for end-users and provide support with MDM-related issues and requests.
Collaboration :
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support network integration, performance enhancements and vIT asset procurement workflows.
Skills and Qualifications :
- Educational Background : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience :
- 4-6 years of experience in network administration and IT security, with a strong focus on security audits and compliance.
- Demonstrated experience with MDM solutions and endpoint security management.
Technical Skills :
- Proficient in network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls) and software.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and LAN/WAN protocols.
- Experience with security tools like IDS/IPS, SIEM, firewalls and network monitoring software.
- Expertise in endpoint security solutions such as EDR/XDR, antivirus, DLP.
- Hands-on experience with MDM platforms such as ManageEngine, Microsoft Intune, VMware Workspace ONE etc.
- Familiarity with network security standards and frameworks (e.g., ISO, NIST).
Certifications : Relevant certifications like CCNP, CompTIA Network+ are highly desirable.

- Communication : Good communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Team Player : Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
