Data Steward Engineer - ETL Tools (6-10 yrs)

Position : Data Operations Steward.

Experience : 6+ Years.

Location : Hyderabad (WFO Hybrid).

WHAT YOU'LL NEED :

- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Data Management, or a related field.

- 6+ years of experience in data management, governance, or a related role, with strong technical execution skills in SQL, PowerBI, and data warehouse management.

- Experience supporting databases like MS SQL and MySQL in AWS environments.

- Strong knowledge of data governance frameworks, best practices, and regulatory requirements.

- Familiarity with ETL frameworks and data quality tools.

- Excellent attention to detail, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

- Experience with data privacy regulations (e.g , GDPR, CCPA).

- Certification in data governance or data management (e.g , CDMP, DGSP).

- Knowledge of data security standards and practices.

- We are looking for someone who is serving Notice Period before 10th February OR 30 days to Immediate Joiner.

- Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to define and implement data governance policies and procedures.

- Ensure data quality through data cleansing, validation, and transformation processes. Develop and maintain data pipelines using ETL tools.

- Manage and optimize data warehouses on AWS platforms (e.g., MS SQL, MySQL). Create and maintain data documentation.

- Generate data reports and visualizations using tools like Power BI.

- Support data access requests from internal teams.

- Stay up-to-date on the latest data management trends and best practices.

- Implement and maintain data security measures to ensure compliance with regulations like GDPR and CCPA. Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Data Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

- 6+ years of experience in data management, data governance, data warehousing, or a related role.

- Strong technical skills in SQL, data warehousing concepts, and data quality tools.

- Experience working with AWS cloud platforms (MS SQL, MySQL preferred).

- In-depth knowledge of data governance frameworks, best practices, and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).

- Familiarity with ETL frameworks (e.g., Apache Airflow) is a plus.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention to detail skills.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills. A passion for data quality and accuracy.
