Job Description:
As a Sales Representative for OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers), your primary responsibility is to drive sales and develop strong relationships with OEMs operating within HVAC Industries, Construction, Manufacturing, Heavy Engineering, Big AC Ducting & Commissioning, and related industries. Your task will be promoting our company's products to OEMs, ensuring that they understand the value proposition and benefits of our offerings. This role requires a combination of hardcore sales expertise, industry knowledge, and relationship-building skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development: Identify and prospect potential OEM clients within the target market segments. Develop a robust pipeline of opportunities to ensure consistent sales growth.
Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies tailored to the needs and preferences of OEM clients. Continuously evaluate and adjust strategies to maximize sales performance.
Product Promotion: Educate OEM clients about our building material products, highlighting key features, benefits, and competitive advantages. Conduct product demonstrations and presentations as needed.
Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within OEM organizations. Serve as the primary point of contact for all sales-related inquiries and support.
Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to OEM clients, addressing their inquiries, concerns, and requests in a timely and professional manner. Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction to foster repeat business and referrals.
Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities within the building material category. Use market insights to identify new business opportunities and optimize sales strategies.
Sales Reporting: Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and updates for management, detailing sales performance, pipeline status, and other relevant metrics. Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on sales data analysis.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal teams, including product development, marketing, and customer support, to ensure alignment of sales activities with overall business objectives. Provide feedback and insights to inform product enhancements and marketing initiatives.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
Proven track record of success in B2B sales, particularly within the Insulation/ Glass/ Electrical/ Auto Components industry.
Strong understanding of OEM business models and procurement processes.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients at all organizational levels.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a proactive approach to achieving sales targets.
